The Wealth of Katie Price

In the United States quite a few people get naked for money, that's no big shock. In fact some of them even reach some level of fame including Traci Lords, Jenna Jameson, Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra but none of them have ever really reached "A list". I don't think it's due to a lack of talent, I really do think its the moral majority (as they call it) that helps to keep us repressed sexually and as such, we can't allow stars who got their start being paid to get naked, reach any sort of mega fame. I think Pamela Anderson is probably the closest to being a major celebrity but even then her movie and television roles have been limited to playing roles of sexpots and bimbos. Her "big" roles have included a lifeguard on Baywatch, the bimbo on V.I.P., and a spoof of herself in Scary Movie 3. Don't get me wrong, she's still a star but the point is, she's not given the respect that say someone like Julia Roberts or Oprah Winfrey is given. It seems this just our way here in America.

Well the Brits aren't like us. They seem to celebrate their nude models and treat them like A list mega stars. Girls like U.K. Jordan are idolized and even given contracts to write books and come out with a line of toys for children.

Katie Price's fame has brought her great wealth. One report recently put her wealth at $40 million! In comparison, a star like Brad Pitt is said to be worth $35 million and the rapper 50 Cent is said to have an estimated worth of $33 million and let's not forget Nicole Kidman who's said to have a personal wealth around $28 million. So in terms of pure wealth, Katie Price ranks up there with the A listers of the U.S.
